Red Cement for Exterior Dampproofing and Repair

BULLDOG® Red Cement #94AF is a smooth-consistency, trowel-grade asphalt cement formulated with asphalt, solvents, pigment, fibers, and fillers. This heavy-duty mastic is made for exterior dampproofing, repair, bedding, pointing, and restoration applications.

Built for Exterior Walls, Roof Repairs, and Masonry

BULLDOG® Red Cement is designed for dampproofing exterior walls and parapets. It can also be used for bedding quarry tiles, repairing slate roofs, pointing around copper and brickwork, historical restoration, and work around chimneys and masonry surfaces.

Application Guidance

Apply BULLDOG® Red Cement with a serrated trowel at an approximate rate of 20 square feet per gallon. The surface must be clean and dry, and all loose particles should be removed with a wire brush. Priming the surface with BULLDOG® Q.D. Primer is recommended. Use the cement directly from the container without heating or thinning. For unusual water conditions or surface cracking, embed BULLDOG® Asphalt Saturated Cotton Fabric in the first coat and then apply a second coat. During winter, store the product indoors at 70°F for 24 hours before use. Cover air intakes before application and while the product cures. The product is for exterior use only. At the recommended application rate, dry time is approximately 6–8 hours to the touch and 48 hours firm. Clean tools with mineral spirits or BULLDOG® #99 Asphalt Remover.
